That’s How Social Media Responded To Imran Khan For Wearing The Jinnah Cap
Imran Khan may not have been able to win the elections but he has been winning the social media game for a very long time. Recently the retired cricket captain and our second favourite politician ( The first place obviously goes to Sheikh Rasheed ) recently addressed lawyers in Karachi wearing the iconic cap worn by Jinnah. The cap was presented to him by the lawyers he was addressing.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to Jinnah adorning the cap.

Wearing #JinnahCap is something to take pride in, beautiful gesture, positive patriotic display of national pride NOT 2 be jeered at. Shame on this Solangi for his ignorant, myopic, shallow view on it. Pathetic journalism! https://t.co/XsuCjOOMet

“ There are some things one is born to wear, and I had obviously been fated to wear this cap” @ImranKhanPTI speaking on the occasion of wearing the #JinnahCap
and causing severe mental anguish across the pseudo intellectual and khooni liberal spectrum

#JinnahCap A karakul قراقلی is a hat made from the fur of the Qaraqul breed of sheep, often from the fur of aborted lamb foetuses.
Even though Our Quaid #MohammadAliJinnah wore it but still the way it is made is gruesome, killing a sheep&its baby to make this hat.

Jinnah Sb wore Karakul/Qarquli cap known as #Jinnahcap and now Imran Khan is wearing Jinnab cap 😏. Someone should know, Karakul cap is not our culture cap. But some people always ignore their own culture. Why? 🤔

Maybe Imran Khan wearing the Jinnah cap is an inclination of things to come. Maybe this is a signal, that 2018 might be Imran Khan’s year after all.
